My late friend Jane's son is over there now. We are all beside ourselves with worry. But we are trying our best to put it all in God's hands. I will be praying for your brother.

Read your previous post - and wish you well. My boys are only 14 months apart so I can relate! The only thing I can tell you for sure is that it really, really does get easier as they get older and can actually interact/play together. Hang in there!!!
Thanks everyone. I think the pity party at Chez Lawyer Mama is over. I talked to my brother and he was so incredibly positive about it, that he has shamed me out of my funk.
GF - I will definitely pass on your advice. My brother reads my blog, so he may have seen it already. And I think I can pretty confidently say that my brother and I share your views about the war.

I'm so sorry to hear that your brother is heading east. But if he's positive about it, that helps. I can't imagine how hard it would be to send an ambivalent or disgruntled loved one to war.
